Read scope: Read scope is defined by the external server's advertised schema, the authentication credential selected in Sprinklr, and the tools chosen for the agent.

Write scope: Sprinklr can invoke state-changing external tools only when the connected server exposes them and the configuration makes those specific tools available to the agent.

Authentication: An administrator creates an MCP server configuration with its endpoint and a selected Sprinklr authentication credential, then validates the connection before agent use.

Approval boundary: Approve the external server, credential, endpoint, and selected tool set before agent activation; add action-level confirmation for any exposed external mutation or communication tool.

Protocol does not erase product boundaries.
